Customer Testimonials:

What a great time I had fishing with Louie! I had fished this lake a few years before, and although I consider myself a pretty good fisherman, Carters Lake had absolutely skunked me. However, with only a few hours with Louie, we were hooking into some very nice Spots and awesome stripers up on top. It certainly was one of my better outings up here. Another good thing is that Louie shared his tricks and strategies freely, something I will appreciate on future trips to Carters. I know I must be sounding like an infomercial for Louie's guiding, but the facts just speak for themselves; any experienced angler knows that first-hand knowledge of a lake is your best weapon, and Louie gives you more information than you can imagine. His love for fishing on Carters clearly shows- both in his demeanor and the quality fish he puts you on. I cannot wait to go fishing with Louie again. It was a pleasure to spend time fishing with someone who loves to fish as much as I do. And to go after them, not with bait, but lures is like "hunting' bass", not just catching them!

I recently had the opportunity to fish with Louie Bartenfield. I explained to Louie that I had limited experience on Carter's (none of which was good). I really wanted to catch a big spot or striper but really just wanted to enjoy time on the lake. Louie said we would and he more than lived up to his word. We had more than our fair share of nice fish during my trip on this beautiful lake. I was impressed with Louie's professional approach to his guiding, as he was well prepared and his knowledge of electronics and deep water fishing was as advertised. If you ever have a chance, give Louie and his guide service a try. I know I am going back for sure!
